Acceptable use policy

CharmeDance makes a dance-trend template from photos you supply. It is an entertainment effect for TikTok and Reels, for adults who are allowed to appear in the photos. These rules sit on top of the terms. They apply to photos you upload, the video we render, and anything you do with that file.

You must

• Be 18 or older.
• Upload only photos of adults, and only when you have permission from the people in them.
• Use photos you have the right to use.
• Check the consent box honestly before checkout.

Where uploaded photos come from

Upload your own photo, or a photo you have permission to use from the adults in it. Uploading another person’s photo without their permission is prohibited. Permission does not allow a deepfake, a face swap, or any of the prohibited categories below. The consent box at checkout is that confirmation.

Prohibited content

CharmeDance does not allow generation of any of these six categories:

1. Sexual or NSFW content. Nudity, pornography, sexual acts, or sexualized images of a real person, including any “nudify” result.
2. Violence or gore. Graphic injury, torture, or content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
3. Hate speech. Content that attacks or incites hatred against a person or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar grounds.
4. Child sexual exploitation, and anyone under 18. Sexual content involving a minor, and any photo or video of a person under 18, including family. This is zero tolerance.
5. Deepfake, impersonation, or an unauthorized likeness of a real person. Face swap, putting one real person’s face on another real person’s body, intimate-scene compositing, or making a real person appear to say or do something they did not. This includes celebrities, officials, and private people, whether or not someone claims they consented. CharmeDance does not offer those features.
6. Copyright or trademark infringement. A character, logo, brand, or other protected work you do not have rights to use.

Also prohibited: harassment, threats, or humiliation; passing the AI video off as an untouched camera recording of a real event; and prompts or uploads meant to bypass these rules. A public figure, celebrity, or official you are not authorized to depict is covered by the likeness rule above.

Moderation

Before a video is rendered we use the checks we can actually run:

• Checkout requires an active consent confirmation that you are 18 or older, that the people in the photos are 18 or older, and that the upload is not in a prohibited category.
• When Waffo merchant credentials are configured, the generation prompt is sent to Waffo’s prompt scan (POST /v1/actions/verification/scan-prompt) before the renderer starts. The video is generated only when the result is allow. A block or review result stops the render. In local mock mode, if those credentials are missing, the scan is skipped and that skip is logged. Live mode does not render without the scan.
• There is no public gallery. Finished files are available only from the private success link for that order.
• Reports sent to the addresses below are read by a person. We do not claim a round-the-clock review desk.

Reporting

Report a CharmeDance order or video that breaks this policy, including impersonation, infringement of your rights, or anything involving a minor. Email report@charmedance.com. You can also write legal@charmedance.com or hello@charmedance.com. Include the order id or success link if you have it, and describe what is wrong.

We acknowledge a report within 2–5 business days. A report about a minor or sexual exploitation of a child is treated as urgent. We do not publish the reporter’s identity. A report that is knowingly false can itself be refused and recorded.

Enforcement

When an order breaks this policy we may, depending on the case:

• Refuse the generation and cancel the order.
• Delete the uploaded photos and the finished MP4.
• Refund the payment when the file should not be delivered, including a refusal before render.
• Close the success link so that order cannot be downloaded again.
• Refuse later orders that repeat the abuse.
• Report serious cases to the relevant authority, including anything involving a minor, and keep the records that report needs.

If we take one of these steps on your order and you think it was a mistake, email legal@charmedance.com within 14 days with the order id. We will review that appeal and reply.

Posting

You are responsible for what you post on TikTok, Reels, or anywhere else, including the sound you add. The video is silent - no music or voice is included. The template does not grant you rights in a song, a character, or another person’s likeness.
